The breakup
Ouch. Hamlet just broke it off with Ophelia and i gotta say he was pretty mean. I mean "get thee to a nunnery"? that was a little too over the top. I don't know where he gets this sort of ruthlessness, but I'm thinking it's from Gertrude. You guys don't know. You may think she's nice, but she's got a mean streak. Just like her son, and my brother. This family will be the death of me. All the stress they've given me, and one of them's dead! Anyway I knew Hamlet wasn't in love with the girl from the beginning. He's not the type to fall in love. It's just now that idiot Polonius knows. Ha! I wonder how the poor man's taking it. He's probably off crying somewhere. Why is he my adviser?

Are you a good father or a good uncle?? What makes you qualified? Did you think about how you would hurt my mother and how divided this will make her feel? You have a selfish imperfect soul.
ReplyDeleteAre you a fair uncle, or father? What wit do you posses to get guardage of my mother? You have greasily bollen ego.
DeleteDon't I put a roof over your head? Don't I out food on the table for you and your mother. I am the husband of your mother so I am your father! If my soul is selfish then yours is obnoxious, and irresponsible.
ReplyDeleteNo I am afraid that you don't put a roof over my head. That roof was rightfully my father's and you took it from him. With this being said, this so called roof that you claim is actually mine. In fact, this whole kingdom is rightfully mine.
DeleteMy soul is in good health. I have no worries that weigh it down. On the other hand, don't you have worries that weigh your soul down?
My soul is my own, and I have no interest in discussing it with you. Let's see you take the crown. This once great kingdom will be a ruin.
DeleteIs not your lodging mine? Is not your bolting hutch from me? If my ego is bollen then yours sir is taint with wreakfullness.
DeleteThe lodging I have is from my true king, and it is mine truly. My ego carries no weight of my wailful sins.
DeleteMy ego is mine to bare, and I do not wish to discuss it with vulgar.
