Vacation!
So I've been thinking a lot about England lately. It's nice this time of year right? Because Hamlet is really messing with my leadership. There's a lot on my mind with the Norway situation, and I'll be honest and say I don't trust him. This will just be a little vacation, it's not like he's never coming back. You know what? I'm even going to send his friends, Guildenstern, and Rosencrantz with him. Those boys are going to be 'protecting' Hamlet. Ha Ha. You know what if Hamlet had followed my orders like they do then I'm sure I wouldn't be going to these drastic measures. He acts crazy one minute then tries to act all holier than thou the next, but he isn't fooling anyone. We all know that although Hamlet feels he's a hero, ridding the kingdom of all its bad men, but he's a slave to his emotions. Now I'm sending him on a little trip. I'm such a good father.

Oh I heard that England is great around this time. You know I wouldn't mind if I went to England also, but only if you don't need me. I could just stay here and help you with the war problem.
ReplyDeleteYou know what? I'm really considering getting you a ticket too. You can hang out with Guildenstern and Rostencrantz.
DeleteUGH for my sanity's sake do NOT send that fool with me. Its bad enough that you have to send me with the two traders but to bring along the royal fool will just send me over the edge of the ship...
DeleteA bird tells me that gracious England is virtuous about this time. I would venture off to the land if not you needed me. Though the invasion keeps me by your side.
DeletePolonius via you to England as well! You can make merry with Rostencrantz and Guildenstern.
DeleteBehold! Do not allow that o'er-raught imp with me! for the sake of my soul.
DeleteClaudius ~
ReplyDeleteWhat orders did you give me exactly ? I love how you think that I won't hear what you say about me . Remember, every shut eye isn't asleep and every goodbye isn't gone. Once I am on that ship, it won't be the last you'll see of me. Believe me, I am and will always be your worst nightmare !!
Sincerely
the thorn in your side
Quite the contrary Hamlet. Once you are on that ship you have gone out of my life forever. Hope you have fun. Oh, and I'm seriously considering inviting Polonius on your little voyage. And I thought you were already insane. Might we be putting on an act?
DeleteFraud- what orders did thou hand to me? You believe I am gone when the door is shut, but nay I am just on the other side. Once I venture to that gracious land you believe that like the birds I will fly away, but you will always hear my birdsong.
DeleteOh the opposite dear Hamlet. Once you are there your song will be on intermission.
